The Ford GT was one of the most closely guarded secrets in the automotive world—even within Ford itself. But when it came time for the big reveal, we needed to go beyond the typical auto show debut.

So we partnered with Turn 10 Studios, the creators of Forza, one of the most popular Xbox racing franchises ever. With over 20 million players, featuring the Ford GT as the hero car—and the cover star—of the game was the perfect way to introduce it to the world.

But there was a problem: the car wasn’t finished yet. And to keep it a secret, Ford couldn’t provide blueprints or CAD files. Instead, we worked with Turn 10 Studios to digitally build the GT before it even hit the streets.

We documented this process in a series of behind-the-scenes videos, showing gamers and car enthusiasts how we pulled it off. This content was featured in-game and on the Xbox home screen, making the Ford GT one of the most anticipated and talked-about supercars before it even existed in the real world.
